The Brow Queen.
I don’t know if you girls fill up your brows every morning but I do and it’s gotten to the point where I was really fed up. So, I’ve been looking to do the famous microblading technique to thicken my brows and give them the shape I want for a long time, but I was a bit scared of going to anyone and being disappointed with the result, so I held back for a very long time.
What is microblading?
Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine I draw hair-like strokes with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Even though it's not as deep as the regular tattoo, it's still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin. The first hour the technician draws the shape in with removable pencil. That’s the longest part and the most important step. During this time, the best customized shape for every client is chosen. The pro advises the clients of which shape is best for their face form and size. Before the microblading begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic. And then ‘” HELLO NEW BROWS”!! If you are concerned about the pain.. well beauty is pain right? Honestly there’s a bit of discomfort, however it is so worth it once it’s done and you are looking FAB morning, day, evening, night.
Last night was my first time trying it and let me tell you, I am so pleased with the final result. I went to see the famous and talented Fery Bd. She is simply great, she took her time to listen to what I wanted and she really explained every step of the procedure. Fery advised me on the shape, size and the arch I should go for. Once we agreed on the look, the Brow Queen opened her brand-new blade right in front of me and began the microblading process, which was about 30 mins. To be very honest, I did feel a bit of pain but I kept telling myself how happy I will be to be able to sleep an extra 10 mins every morning from this moment. Once the whole process was done, I took a glance in the mirror and was BEYOND happy with my new brows.
Overall, my appointement was about an hour and I was ready to go home with a big smile on my face. There is no down time, which is great. I highly recommend Fery BD to anyone in the Montreal area and guess what?
