“What are we doing today?” Here’s a frequently asked question on the week-end during the summer. Are you also looking for new fun activites? Well here’s what you need to put in your 2018 calendar for spring/summer.
I recently discovered a beautiful lavender field only 30 minutes away from Montreal. It is in St-Eustache and let me tell you, it is worth the drive. The grounds are so dreamy, it is the perfect location for a photoshoot; whether it’s an engagement, a wedding, a pregnancy shot or just for fun, this place makes any photo look magical. It’s also a wonderful way to escape the city with your loved ones and completely disconnect from the chaos.
There are many different activities on site, you can spend your entire day without feeling bored. You can walk through the fields, have a pic- nic, get a massage, shop at their boutique, stop by the bistro where they serve their famous lavender lemonade and ice cream. They also offer other healthy snacks. But please! Make sure you don’t forget your camera!
To make it even more pleasant, every sunday they have a different music bands. In order to enjoy La Maison Lavande to it's fullest, I suggest you go during the high season, which is from June to August, entry is only 10$ for adults and 5$ for kids starting at 12 years old. Note that the Lavender harvest begins around the second week of August.
